Flatten

The flatten feature allows you to embed annotations and form fields directly into the content of a PDF. This process converts these elements into regular, non-interactive content, rather than annotations layered onto of the PDF. Flattening can be useful for ensuring that your PDF looks the same on all devices and for preventing further modifications to form fields and annotations.

To use the flatten feature in pdfMachine, follow these steps:

1. Open your PDF in pdfMachine.
2. Select Tools from the menu.
3. Select Flatten from the list of available tools.

After flattening, save your PDF to retain the changes. Note that once a PDF is flattened, the annotations and form fields cannot be edited or removed.
